About Jake Maniscalco
Student Athlete
Jake Maniscalco is a Junior at Mater Dei High School . In addition to playing for Mater Dei's Varsity Team, Jake plays for Monarchy Water Polo Club. He has also represented the Coastal Zone at the ODP National Championships in every age division. Jake also excels in the classroom, where he has a 4.1 cumulative GPA and is taking 4 honors/AP courses as a Junior. Jake is 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with a 76 inch wingspan. In the classroom, Jake maintains a 4.1 GPA with a wide range of honors and AP Courses.

Jake has been selected to represent the Coastal California Zone at the ODP National Championships in every age group. In his first of three years as a Youth player, Jake earned a spot to compete in the 2025 National Championship Tournament that takes place in Northern California from March 14-16, Jake also was selected to participate in Academy Training Sessions in 2023 and 2024.
Mater Dei Varsity Water Polo
Jake enters his Junior Year as a member of Mater Dei Varsity Water Polo Team. As a Sophomore, Jake Maniscalco played in 24 Varsity games for Loyola. The team faced one of the toughest schedules in the country, including multiple games against both the Northern and Southern California Champions. Loyola finished tied for Fourth Place in the CIF Southern Section Open Division, only losing to the eventual California state champions. Loyola also finished the prestigious North South Challenge in 8th Place and finished sixth at Elite 8.

Jake currently plays for Monarchy Water Polo Club. Jake began his U18 career playing for the Trojan U18 Cardinal Team. which finished in 10th place at Junior Olympics. The previous year, Jake played for Trojan's U16 Cardinal team, which finished 8th Place in the Platinum Division of the 2024 Junior Olympics. Jake's team also placed fourth in Division 1 of the 2024 Futures Superfinals.
